“Serious Fun” Raises $450,000 for Domestic Violence Programs

Thank you to everyone who attended Human Options’ Rooted with Love, An Evening of Serious Fun at the St. Regis Monarch Beach on Saturday, May 14. More than 400 guests honored our co-founder and longtime CEO Vivian Clecak with the 2016 Dove Award, all while raising $450,000! Because of you, we will be able to continue our mission of ending the cycle of domestic violence in Orange County. Good Friends of Human Options and Binh Pham Honored at OC Spirit of Volunteerism Awards

For children living at an emergency shelter, celebrating a birthday or a holiday can make them feel forgotten and sad. But that has not been the case for children staying at the Human Options emergency shelter. For 27 years Good Friends of Human Options has made sure our children get a birthday party and celebrate holidays, as well as opportunities for summer camps and picnics. In addition to birthdays and holidays, Good Friends has met many needs for our families over the years. Human Options is honored to be chosen as CUCINA enoteca’s Orange County beneficiary for the Month of March Sip+Support campaign! $1 will be donated from the sale of CUCINA private label wine by the glass, carafe, and bottle at their Newport Beach and Irvine locations during the entire month of March. Orange County-based Agencies Give Survivors of Domestic Violence a Voice During Impactful Multimedia Exhibit in February

Today we are officially announcing that the keynote speaker for our 13th annual Fall Luncheon will be DR. DREW PINSKY!! We at Human Options are incredibly excited that Dr. Drew agreed to be this year’s speaker. As a practicing physician Dr. Drew has seen how abusive relationships and domestic violence has dramatically impacted the lives of his clients.
