Sign up for Human Options’ 40-hour state mandated workshop! Offered biannually in the Spring and Fall, this domestic violence series is ideal for those seeking employment or volunteer experience with a domestic violence organization in California, or for current Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists needing CEUs.
March 31 – April 22, 2017
Fridays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Classes will include a break for lunch

Fee: $200/non-volunteer and $150/Human Options volunteer. CEUs are an additional $30 for LCSWs and LMFTs only.
No refunds for non-attendance but class may be taken at a later date. Payment for class confirms registration. Additional information to be emailed prior to the start of class.
Possible $20/day parking fee if free parking is unavailable. More details to follow.

Personal Empowerment Program
Upon completion you will receive a certification as mandated California Evidence Code Section 1037.1. CEU provider PCE2205.
* This class meets the qualifications for 3-hours of continuing education credits for LMFTs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Offering CEUs at an additional cost of $30. The Overview of Domestic Violence class includes information on the cycle of violence, the power and control wheel, the psychology of the victim and services available for family. Participants will gain the understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence relationships.
** There is no fee for taking the one day Children’s Training for future Children’s Program volunteers in our residential programs. Requires one additional hour of on-site specific training prior to beginning volunteer hours.
