Community Education

Robert Diaz talks to students about the cycle of violence

Over the last 30 years, Human Options has spoken to more than 257,000 people about the effects of domestic violence on individuals, families, schools, businesses, and in the community. Each year our community educators go to public and private schools throughout Orange County focusing on prevention through classroom presentations and interaction with the students.

Presentations are given at no cost to elementary, middle school, high school and college students. These include:

1. Love Is Not Supposed To Hurt
2. Jason’s Story

In addition, religious groups, parent groups, business and professional organizations, and social service agencies may request one of these presentations or presentations on The Effects of Domestic Violence on Children.

Community Educator, Robert Diaz, told Jason’s Story
