We are honored to introduce our new 2021 Human Options Board President, Celina J. Doka!
Celina is an Audit partner in KPMG’s Asset Management Practice. She is also the global lead partner for all services provided to PIMCO. In addition, Celina leads KPMG’s Investment Management and Real Estate Audit practices in the Orange County office.
Professional and industry experience
With over 38 years of experience, Celina has extensive experience with public and private offerings of equity and debt securities including initial public offerings. She also has significant experience in providing audit and accounting services for a wide variety of publicly held and privately held investment management and real estate industry clients including investment advisors, funds of funds, real estate investment trusts, operating partnerships, home builders, land developers, construction/engineering firms, and institutional real estate owners and advisors.
As a leader in the real estate industry, Celina is a member and former chair of the Advisory Board for UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, Center for Real Estate. The board provides market perspective on key issues to help refine and develop a comprehensive professional and academic program in real estate. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Celina is also a member of various industry associations including NAREIT and the National Association of Industrial Office Properties (NAIOP).
Celina is the Board President of Human Options, an organization helping battered women and their families in Orange County. She was also instrumental in establishing the Orange County chapter of KNOW (KPMG’s Network of Women) and is one of the chapter’s co-leaders. Celina is also a former member of the KPMG Partnership Audit Committee.
