SHELTER

A safe place to go, when you need it most, and support to move forward. We offer emergency shelter and housing options that help individuals and families leave dangerous situations, stabilize, and move toward long‑term safety and healing.

Our legal advocates can help you navigate restraining orders, family law, housing protections, and other legal pathways, helping you make informed decisions about your future.

Personal Empowerment Program (PEP), offered in English and Spanish, a court-approved curriculum focused on relationship violence education.

ENHANCED CARE MANAGEMENT

Enhanced Care Management provides comprehensive, community-based care coordination for individuals and families with complex health and social needs. ECM supports clients through intensive case management, connection to medical and behavioral health services, housing navigation, and ongoing care planning to promote stability and overall well-being.

Eligibility: All ages. Must be enrolled in CalOptima in Orange County, or willing to transfer.

HUMAN OPTIONS WALK-IN CENTER
 LOCATIONS

Our Family Resource Centers provide access to counseling, advocacy, and community-based services in safe, welcoming environments across Orange County.

PREVENTION PROGRAMS

Support that prevents violence before it starts. Our specialized prevention programs equip individuals, organizations, communities, and networks with the knowledge and tools to build safer, healthier relationships.

40-HOUR DV ADVOCATE TRAINING

Offered biannually in the Spring and Fall, this comprehensive training prepares individuals seeking employment or volunteer experience with a relationship violence organization in California.

All hotline volunteers are required by the State of California to complete this training. Upon completion, participants receive certification in accordance with California Evidence Code Section 1037.1.

PRESENTATIONS & TRAINING

We offer engaging presentations on a wide range of topics related to relationship violence, from prevention and healthy relationships to the impact on children, families, and communities. Each training is tailored to meet the needs of your group or organization.

TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS

We empower teens and young adults with tools to build healthy relationships and recognize abuse. Programs can be delivered in schools, on college campuses and more.

Offerings include: Love Shouldn’t Hurt workshops, Safe Dates curriculum, Teen Ambassador leadership opportunities, and IGNITE, our support program for teens experiencing abuse.

We partner with professionals across sectors to strengthen community response and support survivors with care and confidence. Trainings are available for law enforcement, healthcare providers, salon professionals, HR teams, and more.
