Fosters family unity, economic empowerment, civic participation, and social integration by providing low cost (or no cost depending on funding), high quality immigration services that enable eligible immigrants and refugees to obtain legal immigrant status or United States Citizenship. We provide services in Spanish, Vietnamese, French, Tagalog and English.

Community Legal Aid SoCal
We have a strong commitment to holistic legal aid for low-income residents. Community Legal Aid SoCal promotes equal access to the justice system through advocacy, self-help services, community education, legal counseling and representation. We provide free, high-quality civil legal services to society’s most vulnerable members, whose human rights and basic needs are jeopardized and for whom significant barriers to justice exist.

Staff is available to assist you complete the forms for a Domestic Violence or Elder/Dependent Adult Abuse Protective Orders at the Lamoreaux Justice Center (7th Floor, Room 705), 341 The City Drive, Orange, CA 92863.

EA Clinic (Elder abuse clinic)

Free clinic for people who want to file or respond to a Elder Abuse Temporary Restraining Order.

Fair Housing Council of Orange County

Services provided by the Fair Housing Council include fair housing enforcement and education, landlord/tenant counseling, mediation and homebuyer HUD counseling which includes first-time homebuyer education and mortgage default counseling.

Farzad & Ochoa Family Law Attorneys, LLP

Farzad & Ochoa Family Law Attorneys, LLP is proud to provide pro bono services for victims of serious abuse in Orange County. We believe every attorney’s obligation is to provide some level of pro bono legal services to victims of crime or violence. Our focus is married or unmarried women or men who have been the victim of serious domestic violence in the County of Orange and are in need of a restraining order against their abuser.

The Office of the Family Law Facilitator

The Office of the Family Law Facilitator provides education, information and explains options without giving legal advice. The Office of the Family Law Facilitator can assist self-represented litigants in handling their own child and spousal support cases.

Orange County Family Justice Center

OCFJC Foundation provides direct victim assistance and empowerment and prevention resources to victims and families whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault and elder abuse. We transform victims into survivors and break the cycle of violence.

Orange County Bar Association Lawyer Referral & Information Service

The OCBA’s Lawyer Referral & Information Service (LRIS) is the only non-profit legal referral service in Orange County sponsored by the OCBA. It has been referring callers to some of Orange County’s finest attorneys for over 50 years. LRIS panel attorneys have expertise in 35 areas of the law. Each call is carefully screened by trained representatives to assure referral to the right attorney. Prospective clients receive a free brief consultation to review the legal issue and discuss fees.

Orange County Public Defender

A voice for the poor, the Orange County Public Defender provides legal representation to those unable to afford a lawyer in criminal, juvenile, mental health and dependency cases.

Public Law Center

The Public Law Center is a pro-bono law firm that provides access to justice for low-income residents of Orange County

Santa Ana Family Justice Center

The SAFJC is a partnership between the Santa Ana Police Department and 17 social services organizations to provide a “one stop shop” where survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, human trafficking and elder abuse can receive the assistance and support they need. 

Self Help Center

SERVICES INCLUDE PROCEDURAL ASSISTANCE FORDivorce, Legal Separation, Custody, Visitation Support; Establishing a legal parent relationship for a child/children when there is no marriage; Restraining Orders; Guardianship; Name Change; Landlord/Tenant (Eviction); Cleaning up your criminal record; Small Claims, Civil Lawsuits, Traffic Tickets, Conservatorships, and Adoptions. SELF-HELP CENTERS SERVICES INCLUDE: Workshops, How to booklets and form packets, and Public computers with access to legal websites and easy to use document preparation software and SmartForms.

UCI Domestic Violence Clinic

Law students in the Domestic Violence Clinic provide transformative legal representation to domestic violence survivors and their children.

UCI Criminal Justice Clinic

The Criminal Justice Clinic represents low-income individuals in state criminal court and helps non-citizens seek post-conviction relief when facing immigration consequences of past criminal offenses. 

 Veterans Legal Institute

Veterans Legal Institute® (VLI) provides pro bono legal assistance to homeless and low income current and former service members.

Waymakers

A nonprofit resource building safer communities by helping people find their way. Whether redirecting youth offenders, helping sheltered children get back on track, unifying troubled families, resolving community conflicts or empowering victims of violence, Waymakers clears the path so clients can advance beyond crisis.
