Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for receiving all visitors at the front desk of the business office, responsible for data entry and providing support in creating grant reports, and general administrative support, as assigned. The Administrative Assistant manages the interest lists, conducts pre-screening, and schedules intakes for Personal Empowerment Program (PEP), Legal Advocacy, and Clinical services. Information and Referral Specialist
Under the supervision of the Community Based Services Supervisor, the Information and Resource (I&R) Specialist provides and assists with registrations, information, linkages, and referrals to individuals and families seeking services pertaining to basic needs, mental health, case management, housing, etc. The Information and Referral Specialist is also responsible for data entry and outreach. Under the supervision of the Legal Advocacy Program Supervisor (LAPS), the Legal Advocate conducts initial assessments with domestic violence clients to identify existing or anticipated legal issues, and provides education, referrals, direct services, and resources to support clients. This position educates clients on their legal options available and works with the client to achieve the legal goals that the advocate and client have created. Click here for more info and to apply.
Under the supervision of a Clinical Program Supervisor, the Mental Health Therapist provides direct clinical and psychoeducational services to individuals (adults and minors), families, and groups. The Mental Health Therapist facilitates client education, support groups, and promotes domestic violence awareness and prevention through community outreach. Click here for more info and to apply.
Under the supervision of the Senior Prevention and Strategic Partnerships Director, the Prevention Educator develops and implements educational and outreach presentations, programs, and activities focusing on healthy relationships, intimate partner violence, teen dating violence, bullying, etc. The Prevention Educator travels and works primarily in Orange County, collaborating with school districts, walk-in centers, local universities, faith-based organizations, and community groups. The Prevention Educator maintains and establishes new community partnerships to drive education and outreach for violence prevention education and awareness. The Prevention Educator recruits participants to join groups and to assist in the agency’s domestic violence outreach and prevention education efforts throughout target communities. Under the direction of the Residential Director, the Site Administrator coordinates site support services, including program and administrative assistance, and facilities management. The Site Administrator will work closely with staff, outside vendors, volunteers, donors, and clients to provide a full range of support to facility management, processes, and procedures.
