VOLUNTEER CRITERIA

To volunteer to work with adult clients at our residential program:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must complete the state mandated 40-hour training workshop

To volunteer for the children’s program at any of the Center for Children & Families locations:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must complete the 8 hour Children’s Training workshop conducted by Human Options

40 Hour State Mandated Volunteer Workshop

Twice a year we provide a volunteer training workshop to anyone interested. It is held Fridays and Saturdays on 3-4consecutive weekends. For more information on the workshop and how to register see Volunteer Opportunities.

Upon completion you will receive a certification as mandated by California Evidence Code Section 1037.1. Contact glibby@humanoptions.org for further information and registration.

NOTE: This class meets the qualifications for 3 hours continuing education credits for MFT and LCSW professionals. No refunds given for non-attendance; class can be re-taken at a later date.
